The practice of education has an unmistakable political dimension. This political dimension is often the space for politicians to battle through the problems they see with society, presenting solutions in the form of moulding the young with whichever opinions they hold dear. Over the course of the past few decades, the British government has produced a considerable amount of educational policy to reshape the British education system as we know it. The question we must ask is, are these changes actually improving our education?
