| Note: The new SICM Tuition year ended 15th May due to exams. The new year matches with the academic year and will begin in September. |
The Shia Itha’ashari Community of Middlesex (SICM) organises tuition classes on Saturday mornings during the school year. These classes are proven to help pupils who wish to reinforce and widen their knowledge in the many subjects which are provided. |
Many pupils have emerged with excellent results – many of which are higher than had previously been expected. | |
| The teachers are dedicated to the progress and achievements of the pupils and work hard to ensure that all pupils receive the attention and the help they need. |
Relatively small class sizes (which vary from year to year depending on demand) facilitate the opportunity of the children to pose any questions and concerns that they may have and also allows a close interaction between student and teacher, which is undoubtedly a means to a more enjoyable learning experience. |
 | Development of the classes through the years has resulted in teachers incorporating experiments as well as other activities for the pupils so that they may take an active part in their education. This enhances their experience and is proven to increase the amount of information that they retain from the classes. |
SICM also yearns to assist those who are less fortunate. Many pupils lack the educational facilities required to attain their potential and cannot afford the high cost of private tuition. It is therefore SICM’s pride to offer these Tuition classes for £50 a year. Those who are still unable to pay this may also request a bursary. |
